DIN EN 1090
TÜV Rheinland InterCert Kft. is one of the leading companies on the field of certification materials, staff and plants in Hungary. Our company – next to its other services – carries out certification activity according to DIN EN 1090-1, and 2 – based on European Directive 89/106/EGK and moreover the Directive 93/68/EGK. Under the scope of above mentioned directives belongs the field of plant production, painting, erection, etc., so the whole process of production closed with installation. Our office in Budapest – as a subsidiary of TÜV Rheinland GmbH. in Cologne – carries out its certifying and controlling activity under the Notified Body Number 0035.
The prescriptions of above mentioned directives come up in form of three European norms, what norms actually make a norm series. On the level of production these three norms are the below mentioned ones:
- DIN EN 1090-1:2010-07: Execution of steel structures and aluminum structures. Requirements for conformity assessment of structural components.
- DIN EN 1090-2:2008-12: Execution of steel structures and aluminum structures. Technical requirements for steel structures.
- DIN EN 1090-3:2008-09: Execution of steel structures and aluminum structures. Technical requirements for aluminum structures.
Currently the most important information for companies, who intend to get any kind of certification according to DIN EN 1090 ff, is that application of ruling these standards from 01.01.2011 in EU. is obligatory. However companies, who have any export activity to Germany need to know that now there is a period in which the certification and working as per DIN 18800-7: 2008 and DIN EN 1090-2: 2008 as well is allowed (in German literature it’s mentioned as: „Koexistenzperiode”). This period takes till 30.06.2012. It’s important here to highlight that validity of certificates according to DIN 18800-7 expire on 30.06.2012, so the concerned companies must certify themselves before the deadline 30.06.2012.
Our services
For certification as per DIN EN 1090-1, -2 TÜV Rheinland InterCert Kft. offers up a preparation and guidance in the beginning phase of certification. During the guidance the partner gets help in interpretation of EN 1090 ff and in the other prescriptions (application of CE mark, publishing of conformity declaration, etc.). Besides that TÜV Rheinland InterCert Kft. offers its help on the base of products in determination of execution classes (EXC1 ÷ EXC4) and in some cases can give advice to improve the abilities of production (like: training of staff, change some circumstances i plant, etc.). The company contracts preparation and guidance out of Hungary as well; next to the Hungarian in English and German language too.
