Conformity assessment procedures
Product certification can be requested by the manufacturer or the authorized agent of the manufacturer (importer) i.e. the applicant.
Certification is carried out on the basis of a Module System, the applicant can select from among the given Module Systems (according to preference and opportunity).
A short description of the Module Systems can be found below. For more details the relevant Directive 2007/23/EC (Annex II) and EU Decision No. 768/2008 contain detailed descriptions of the various modules and certification procedure.
