Industrial Energy Production from Solar Energy

The term “solar power plant” spans a number of different technologies, for example, large grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems, so-called PV power plants, as well as various types of solar thermal power plants, collectively known as concentrated solar power plants (CSPs). All harness solar energy to generate electrical energy. With capacities ranging from a few megawatts to several hundred megawatts, they feed electrical power into public grids that are currently primarily supplied by fossil fuel power plants.
