Instead of the complete rating, organizations can opt for a partial rating program, customizing the program to evaluate one particular or a combination of certain dimensions. Our Services for TÜV Rheinland STAR*

As an independent third party, TÜV Rheinland experts provide STAR evaluations for your company based on 9+1 Dimensions to measure your performance against corporate governance, occupational health and safety, information security, business conduct towards partners and competitors and many more. In each dimension, you can be awarded a maximum of five stars for excellent performance.

The 9+1 Dimensions of TÜV Rheinland STAR

The 9 Dimensions were developed as a result of cutting-edge research in CSR, diverse management systems and current corporate topics. The dimensions are comprised of a total of 50 sub-dimensions and over 1000 check points. Each dimension follows our basic methodology of assessing systematic aspects in combination with actual performance. Based on the requirements, customers can choose for a full rating or partial rating system.

The +1 Dimension

In addition to the 9 dimensions, customers can elect an additional 10th dimension - Customer Specific Requirements, which will be customized to the individual needs of a particular supply chain by adding further criterion to the evaluation.

Activity Assessment Criteria

Fields of activity are assessed on the basis of the following criteria:
