The Ukraine constitutes a market with great potential, not least since the eastwards expansion of the European Union and accession to the WTO in 2008. Accordingly, Ukrainian-German trade relations have steadily developed in recent years. Imports from Germany make up a large proportion of foreign trade for the Urkaine. As a manufacturer, make use of this trend for a successful launch onto the market.

The Ukrainian standardization agency Derzstandart has introduced a product certification system (Ukr-SEPRO). As a result, certification is mandatory for a large number of products. Conformity with the Ukr-SEPRO system must be demonstrated with the labelling of imported products with the Ukrainian conformity mark.

In order to yvoid delays during processing by Ukrainian customs, voluntary certification or what ist known as "negative certification" has proven itself for products which are not subject to mandatory.

You can choose freely whether your certification is valid for a one off delivery or for 1, 3 or 5 years. The testing and documentation requirements differ depending on the type of certification.

If, as a manufacturer, you would like to export goods to the Ukraine, we will gladly support you with tests in accordance with Ukrainian requirements and with the attainment of the required certificate of conformity.

Our test reports are valid as the basis for the Ukrainian certification process in many cases. Only rarely is a retest and, if need be, a test sample required.
