The Ukrainian standardization agency Derzstandart has introduced a product certification system, UkrSEPRO. As a result, testing is mandatory for a large number of products. Imported products that have a Ukrainian conformity mark can be seen to comply with the Ukr­SEPRO system, and an UkrSEPRO mark is essential.

• Electrical products
• Electronic products
• Medicinal products
• Machinery
• Toys etc.

Whether certification is mandatory for your product will depend on the customs tariff number. We will be happy to advise you on details.

Many manufacturers have found voluntary certification to be invaluable even for products that do not require a mandatory certificate. Voluntary or so-called negative certification is a tried and tested way of avoiding delays at the Ukrainian customs. You are free to choose between one-off certification or certification for one, three or five years. Testing and documentation requirements will vary, depend­ing on the type of certificate.
