Six Steps towards more Environmental Balance
Our experienced and attentive experts analyse and evaluate your processes and systems in six main steps:
1. Preliminary Audit
The auditors conduct a preliminary audit to determine whether any requirements associated with this standard have already been implemented in your company and, if so, which ones.
2. Documentation Review
The auditing team determines the extent to which the documentation of your eco-management concurs with the requirements of the EMAS.
Our auditors monitor how your company applies its environmental management system in practice, to test its effectiveness.
4. Issue of Certificate
When all criteria has been fulfilled, your company will receive the certificate. It certifies the integrity of your environmental management system and its compliance with ISO 14001.
5. Surveillance Audits
Our annual surveillance audits support you in constantly upgrading the process.
6. Certification Renewal
Every three years there is a repeat audit for certification renewal. This ensures a continued process of improvement and demonstrating your long-term commitment to your partners and customers for improved food safety.
