TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V.

TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V. provides a large number of services, ranging, for instance, from testing and inspection of industrial facilities, testing of products to safety standards, through certification of management systems to vocational qualification and continuation training.

The staff are experts in particular areas of work, for instance in testing, measurements, assessments and certifications as regards buildings, industrial facilities, and management systems. In addition to that, they provide product testing, for example checks on textiles, clothing, carpets and floor coverings. TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V. maintains an own glass laboratory and the service range here includes the analysis and energy efficiency improvement of glass furnaces.

The specialists working at the Notified Body test helmets, protectors, eye and facial protective equipment, protective equipment against drowning, protective gloves as well as safety footwear in accordance with Directive 89/686/ EC (for manufacturers and importers).

Moreover, the staff at TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V. have professional expertise in dealing with issues arising from the use of glass in structural engineering and the designing of buildings.

The Board of Advisers is an independent body to the Board of TÜV Rheinland Netherlands B.V. and focuses on the assessment of the certification system, the assessment guidelines, the monitoring of the impartiality and independence of the certification processes.

TÜV Rheinland EPS B.V. now TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V.

TÜV Rheinland EPS B.V. is retrospective to 2012 fully integrated in TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V. and will continue under this name.

Electronic Products and Services (EPS) is a business field specialised in the testing and certification of electrical, electronic and telecommunications products. It is the only laboratory in the Netherlands that has been duly accredited to measure the effect of electric radiation on human beings. Since its establishment in 1988 EPS has been assisting manufacturers, suppliers, importers and authorities with the testing of products. In this process special attention is being given to functionality, safety and environmental compatibility. The range of services also includes testing for electromagnetic compatibility, type testing, approval and product certification.

TÜV Rheinland Sonovation B.V.

TÜV Rheinland Sonovation B.V. is the TÜV Rheinland Global Advanced NDT Competence Centre. With operations in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) services are provided, particularly for companies in the oil and gas industry. This includes ultrasonic weld examination and corrosion inspections for pipe systems or pressure equipment, utilising advanced technology such as Time of Flight Diffraction and Phased Array.

As leaders in the field, TÜV Rheinland Sonovation apply this advanced technology, augmented by in house R&D to unrivalled excellence to the benefit or its customers in challenging applications. Typically on line inspections have been carried out at temperatures as high as 500 ºC. Technology such as this often leading to significant financial savings for plant owners.

TÜV Rheinland Luxcontrol Nederland B.V.

TÜV Rheinland Luxcontrol Nederland is a Dutch company providing third party testing and certification services for guided transport systems. Established in 1981, the company has been recognised as a Notified Body for all sub-systems and for interoperability constituents (EC identification No. 1010) by the Ministery of Transport of the Netherlands on the basis of the Directives on the Interoperability of the Trans-European Rail Systems 2008/57/EC.

The scope
EC Certification for the trans-European network as a Notified Body. Depending on the chosen TSI-Module, this certification also includes the Assessment of Quality Assurance Systems. RAMS Assessment According to CENELEC Railway Standards Independent Safety Assessment in rail technology for all safety integrity levels (SIL1 to SIL4). Our services are relevant for upgrade, reconstruction, renewal and extension of existing lines and vehicles and new design and construction of lines and rail vehicles.

TÜV Rheinland TNO Automotive International B.V.

In 2008, TNO Deelnemingen B.V. and TÜV Rheinland Kraftfahrt GmbH formed a joint business venture called TTAI. TTAI’s priority area is the testing of vehicles and vehicle components for compliance with passive safety requirements. The services of the independent provider can be retained by carmakers and the car component industry on a global scale.Based in Helmond in the Netherlands, TTAI runs Europe’s state of the art crash test facility for vehicles. This facility is part of the Dutch Technology Centre for Mobility, the so-called ”High Tech Automotive Campus“. TTAI is one of the few international service providers which can offer all types of crash tests regardless of the weather conditions, for passenger cars, buses and trucks.
