2. Document Review
The auditing team determines the extent to which your management system documentation already concurs with our norms.
3. Certification Audit
You demonstrate practical application of your management system, and our auditors test how effective it is.
4. Issue of Certificate
If your company meets all of the criteria, your company is then awarded the certificate, showing compliance with the norms and that your risk management system adheres to the IFS or IFS Logistic standards.
5. Certification Renewal
In accordance with the requirements of frequency, the audit is repeated for certification renewal. This ensures continued improvement in your processes and also documents to partners and customers your long-term commitment to the safety of your products
Excellent Quality Management for Food Safety
IFS, or International Food Standard, certification is based on the ISO 9001norm. This standard incorporates food safety legislation requirements, principles of good manufacturing practice, and HACCP risk analysis processes in one quality management framework. It also regulates the handling of allergens and genetically modified (GM) organisms in compliance with current EU legislation.
The IFS standard is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized certificate and counts as one of the most important safety standards for food quality besides the BRC standard.
