Certification According to ISO/TS
Quality Management For Component Suppliers In The Automotive Industry
Developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), ISO / TS 16949 is the world’s leading automotive standard. It combines a series of quality standards for auto manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in a single certification. This saves you from having to undergo lots of time-consuming certifications. As an automotive components supplier, ISO / TS 16949 helps you continuously improve your system and process quality and focus fully on customer satisfaction. Customer-specific requirements are implemented to the letter. Our experts provide you the support you need to set up your quality management system and to comply with ISO / TS 16949 right up to certification level.

Six Steps To Greater Quality In Automotive Supply Chains
Our auditors support you during the certification process. ISO / TS 16949 certification is done in six steps.
1. Preliminary Audit (optional)
The auditors conduct a preliminary audit to determine whether any requirements associated with this standard have already been implemented in your company and, if so, which ones.
2. Documentation Review
The auditing team determines the extent to which the documentation for your quality management system already meets the ISO/TS 16949 requirements.
3. Certification Audit
You demonstrate the practical application of your quality management system, and our auditors test how effective it is.
4. Issue of Certificate
Once all criteria have been met, your company is awarded the certificate, demonstrating the integrity of your management system and its compliance with ISO/TS 16949.
5. Surveillance Audits
Our annual surveillance audits help you to continuously optimize your processes.
6. Certification Renewal
The revision audit is carried out after three years and helps you implement continuous improvement processes. This demonstrates to partners and customers your long-term commitment to quality.
On-Site Certification
ISO / TS 16949 is based on ISO 9001, and has been perfectly designed for your industry’s requirements. It outlines specifications for product development, manufacturing, and - where applicable - product assembly and maintenance. Certification always applies to one production site.
Focus On The Customer
Besides focusing on the key requirements of a quality management system (continuous improvement), ISO / TS 16949 also focuses on customer satisfaction. Customer requirements are implemented to the letter, providing a firm basis for trust in your customer relations.
Most Important Changes To The 3rd Issue of Certification Specifications
The new ISO / TS 16949:2009 includes new aspects of ISO 9001:2008 relevant to certification. It also includes changes to the 3rd issue of ISO / TS 16949. The 3rd technical specification (also known as TS3) is based on ISO 9001:2008 and does not include any new technical requirements.
Moving steadily toward an integrated management strategy
Combine your quality management system with industry-specific standards or certifications in the areas of environmental protection and occupational health and safety. This establishes an integrated management strategy and creates ideal conditions for future business development.
