Employee engagement

To promote the many activities and to give the volunteers the opportunity to network and exchange view, in 2009 the initiative "Volunteer" was created. Via this interactive online platform, all employees worldwide can share project experiences with like-minded people, present new projects or receive suggestions for their own activities. Today the platform covers 50 projects - and counting.

Our employees are also involved "at home" in Cologne. Many colleagues regularly take part in the "Cologne Volunteer Days" and make their workforce available for the entire day for a social project. At the Cologne Marathon they raised four euros for each kilometer run. The Cologne organization "Helfen durch Geben (Helping by Giving) - der Sach e.V." for the support of families and nurseries in need benefited from this money.
