Tests based on associated Australian/New Zealand standards and International standards
TÜV Rheinland provides support – from development through production – for supplying Gardening equipment into Australia and New Zealand by providing Safety and EMC tests that are absolutely essential.
Safety Approvals or Certification for Australia and New Zealand
Electrical equipment safety is regulated by the State Governments and for certain Hand Held Tools certification by a recognised approval scheme is mandatory.

GS mark
The GS mark certifies that the product meets the applicable safety requirements, and that it has been tested according to European standards by an internationally recognized laboratory. The product meets the low voltage and machine directives.
CE mark
Electric tools must be issued the CE mark. They must comply with the safety requirements of specific European directives. Our inspections provide valid certification of compliance.
CB and CCA procedure
