This certificate distinguishes genuine quality from businesses that are simply taking advantage. It was developed specifically for spa hotels, resorts, and day spas. We evaluate more than 300 criteria for your benefit, ranging from the hotel surroundings to the kitchen and the equipment in the spa area. Of course, we also take a thorough look at your personnel's qualifications, how attentive they are to guests' needs and what sort of service they provide.

Six Steps to More Quality for Spa Hotels, Resorts, and Day Spas
1. Preliminary audit (optional)
Our auditors conduct a preliminary audit to determine whether any requirements associated with this standard have already been implemented in your company and, if so, which ones.
2. Examination of documentation
The auditing team determines the extent to which your quality management documentation concurs with our norms for spa treatments.
3. Audit
You demonstrate practical application of your quality management system. Our auditors test how effective it is.
4. Issue of certificate
If your company meets all of the criteria, your company is then awarded the certificate, showing compliance and efficiency of your Quality Management System for Certified Medical Spa Treatment or Certified Spa Hotels.
5. Surveillance audits
Our annual surveillance assessments help you continuously optimize your processes.
6. Certification renewal
Every three years the audit is repeated for certification renewal. This ensures continued improvement in your processes and also documents your long-term commitment to quality for your partners and customers.
