ZigBee
ZigBeeTM is an open, international industry standard for reliable, cost-effective, wireless and bidirectional communication. ZigBeeTM can also be implemented in battery-operated equipment for the home, buildings management and industrial plant automation.
Why ZigBeeTM?
ZigBeeTM has been designed to establish a worldwide industry standard for reliable, cost-effective, wirelessly networked monitoring and control products. ZigBeeTM is based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal area networks, the ZigBeeTM protocol layers and the applications.
Adherence to the ZigBeeTM specification and certification programme ensures full interoperability between products from different manufacturers.
Where is ZigBeeTM used?
The target markets for ZigBeeTM are the home, building and industrial automation sectors, including lighting, access, security and heating/climate control systems and remote control systems for consumer electronics.
What can we do to support you?
We have been appointed as an official test facility by the ZigBeeTM Alliance. Once you have passed the test procedure, you will be awarded the Zig-BeeTM certification on the basis of our test reports. We are also happy to assist you in launching your ZigBeeTM product internationally.
