Objectives

ISO TS 16949:2002  is the primary standard for the automotive industry throughout the world. It combines existing automotive quality standards and QM system requirements into one certification, making costly multiple certification processes unnecessary.

VDA 6.1: Part and component suppliers

VDA 6.1 is a German quality standard that is designed for part and component suppliers in the automotive industry. It is currently the only standard for manufacturing companies that cannot be certified to ISO TS 16949:2002.

VDA 6.2: Service providers

VDA 6.1 is a German quality standard that is designed for VDA 6.2 is a German quality standard that contains the requirements for automotive service providers. Auto dealers, workshops, engineering firms, and prototype manufacturers can all be certified to VDA 6.2.art and component suppliers in the automotive industry. It is currently the only standard for manufacturing companies that cannot be certified to ISO TS 16949:2002.

VDA 6.4: Capital goods suppliers

VDA 6.4 is a German quality standard designed for machine and tool manufacturers that supply production equipment within the automotive industry.
