VDA 6.1, 6.2, and 6.4
Objectives
ISO TS 16949:2002 is the primary standard for the automotive industry throughout the world. It combines existing automotive quality standards and QM system requirements into one certification, making costly multiple certification processes unnecessary.
VDA 6.1: Part and component suppliers
VDA 6.1 is a German quality standard that is designed for part and component suppliers in the automotive industry. It is currently the only standard for manufacturing companies that cannot be certified to ISO TS 16949:2002.
VDA 6.2: Service providers
