This report presents a survey of the legal regulations, instructions, procedures and measuring technologies, according to the 1st BImSchV (Small Furnaces Order) and 2nd BImSchV (Order relating to the Limitation of Emissions of Highly Volatile Halogenated Hydrocarbons). Special points are the description of the measurement, tasks, techniques, equipment and measures for quality assurance. Furthermore the procedure for suitability tests with the minimum requirements and the test plans are shown. The actual state of the published instruments declared as suitable is also presented in addition with data sheets of the manufactures.
