Here are some suggestions on how to prepare effectively and thus give a good impression of yourself and your skills.

Vor der Messe: Überlegen Sie sich einen konkreten Fragenkatalog:

What information is important to me on such matters as internships, first jobs or changing jobs?
What to I hope to get out of the event? What are my goals? For example:
- I want to learn as much as possible about the TÜV Rheinland Group.
- I want to have an idea after the event of what working for this company may be like for me.
- I want to make the best impression possible so that the HR department will remember me when I send my application.

At the event: Consider the following: the direction which conversations take depends to a large extent on your questions. Thus,

Make it easy for the person to whom you are talking: introduce yourself briefly. Say something about yourself, your background and your goals.
Ask clear and specific questions about the company.
Consider the following: in one respect, you and the person to whom you are talking have the same goal: you both want to answer the essential question: are we suitable for one another?
So: Make it clear why you are well-suited to the company or why you are the right person for the job. Subtly mention your qualifications and skills during the conversation.
If you give the impression during the conversation that you are well-suited to our company and deserve the opportunity for an interesting job, we will ask you to send your application by mail. For data protection reasons, we cannot unfortunately accept your application at the event.
Refer to the conversation you have had at the event in your cover letter.
