Photovoltaics have a future: By testing solar modules, TÜV Rheinland is making its contribution to the ongoing development of solar technology. The most modern solar simulator in Europe, housed in Cologne, is the proof of this. The artificial sunlight means that, for the first time, extensive photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight into electricity can be tested in the laboratory.
