Objectives:
In Europe there are an estimated number of more then 10.000 plants existing, especially in SMEs, that are sources of dust emissions to the environment. To improve this situation the innovative way of production- integrated environmental control measures is considered as the best approach. This can only benefit the SMEs if concrete technical and financial advantages can be achieved at low costs. Therefore the technical, economic and social objectives of the project proposed areDevelopment of cost-effective, low-maintenance monitors based on simpler technology than the existing ones, Verifying their reliability and suitability for end user, Reducing dust emissions and saving energy, Improving occupational conditions (e.g. workplace), To bring about ecological and economic benefits by integrating environmental protection with production.
