Firstly, the context of use is established to provide the basis for carrying out the ergonomics test. The former involves the identification and documentation of the main user groups and main tasks as well as the influence of both to the ergonomic requirements. The context of use and the quality requirements together form the basis for product testing and certification.

Product inspection performed by ergonomics experts

Our ergonomics experts perform spot checks on the software product according to the predefined quality criteria. The context of use and standardized requirements in terms of ergonomics, functionality and reliability form the basis of this inspection.

Documentation test

The product documentation is examined with respect to its completeness, comprehensibility and compliance with the product.

Participatory observation with users

Participatory observation exercises with potential user groups and/or actual users in an environment in keeping with the product description are essential in order to evaluate a product's ergonomic qualities. The exercises are intended to establish whether the product supports the user effectively and efficiently during processing of his tasks. Any obstacles that are identified are documented. Besides the satisfaction of the users is examined.
