Research and Development
We have dealt with research and development in the area of passive safety in aviation for over 20 years.
Our activities focus on:
- consulting services for the development of aircraft cabin and cockpit design, aimed at mini-mising the injury potential for aircraft passengers and personnel in emergency situations;
- definition and design of survival spaces for passengers and personnel;
- implementation of dynamic tests at the crash facility;
- examination of crash behaviour, operational stability and durability of aircraft components and structural parts;
- analysis of aircraft accidents;
- development and optimisation of restraint systems for children, youth and adults;
- implementation and evaluation of surveys in the field of aviation;
- attainment of new findings in biomechanics through the performance of crash tests and implementation of such findings for optimised passive safety;
- set-up of proposals for the implementation of static and dynamic tests;
- evaluation of high-speed films to analyse motion patterns;
- set-up of expert opinions and studies.
