Quality management in the automotive industry
Quality takes a front seat
As vehicles become increasingly complex, so too do the automotive development and manufacturing supply chains. If you are a manufacturer or supplier, standards help you guarantee and optimize the quality of your products.
A certified quality management system is much more than a gateway to new markets or customers. It is a blueprint for sustained business success. Whether you are a global corporation or a start-up company, the international TÜV Rheinland network will help you create your tailor-made QM system.
ISO TS 16949:2002: Catch-all certification
The requirements of the former QS-9000, in addition to those of VDA 6.1, AVSQ and EAQF have all been harmonized to form the quality and process guidelines ISO/TS 16949:2002. These guidelines have been developed by the European, U.S., and Japanese automotive industry and make costly multiple certification processes unnecessary.
VDA 6.1, 6.2, and 6.4: No mistakes in auto manufacture
If you are an automotive component supplier, auto dealer, workshop, or capital goods supplier, VDA volumes 6.1, 6.2, and 6.4 help you optimize your workflows and your use of raw materials and capital goods. TÜV Rheinland can certify your business individually or in combination with other management systems.
