Noise management

Noise tolerance limits for aircraft are defined in noise protection regulations aimed at protect-ing the environment. The compliance with such tolerance values must be proven to the avia-tion authority.

We offer the following services within our noise management:

• implementation of noise measurements for propelled aircraft with a take-off mass of up to 9,000 kg;
• consulting services in noise-minimising measures for aircraft;
• theoretical assessment of noise of propelled aircraft;
• development of noise-measuring programmes for special vehicles such as hot-air balloons and airships.

Noise-measuring facility

Being a noise-measuring facility approved by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, we perform measure-ments of propelled aircraft with a take-off mass of up to 9,000 kg, and set up the corre-sponding noise-measuring records.

Consulting services

We offer consulting services as regards:

• the application and interpretation of noise regulations
• the means of minimising noise of general aviation aircraft
