Pilot Project  |  A project initiated by the French Chemical Industry Association (UIC) provides small and medium-sized enterprises in France’s Picardie region with the basics that they need to undertake a REACH registration themselves. The pilot project, in which TÜV Rheinland is playing a major role, will also identify the repercussions and risks for companies and fulfill their GHS duties.

REACH was passed on 18th December 2006. The new European chemicals legislation will come into force on 1st June 2007.
