For an assignment in our branch in Ho Chi Minh City / Vietnam we are looking for a f/m
Manager / Director of Food Laboratory
(Food Chemist, Chemist / Biologist with experience in food analysis)
for establishing and operating a new laboratory for food analysis (chemical and microbiological analysis). Your extensive experience and expertise in food testing and implementing applicable methods to measure the existence of hazardous substances/microbes in food would make you the ideal candidate.
Job Requirements:
- Over 3 years working experience in food safety analysis
- Working experience as supervisor or manager
- Strong knowledge about applicable European Directives and regulations
- Experience in setting up an accreditation scheme (ISO 17025) would be an advantage.
General Requirements:
- Successfully completed degree in natural sciences discipline (Food Chemistry (preferably) / Chemistry / Biology)
- Customer focused, good communication skills, leadership skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and German
(Additional language skills: Vietnamese / Chinese / Japanese / Korean would be an
advantage)
- Outgoing personality, strong character, of good moral, self motivated and results driven
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural / multi-national environment
