Health hazards caused by hygiene deficiencies in private or public areas frequently make the headlines even today. There are numerous examples where the visitors of sanitary and recreation facilities have been exposed to increased contamination in the form of pathogens, for example moulds and bacteria. The hygiene label of TÜV Rhein-land/Berlin-Branden-burg guarantees the customer a clean bill of hygiene for the tested areas. Our hygiene label is issued for example to motorway services, camping grounds, fitness studios, (recreational) baths, restaurants, canteen kitchens, cinemas, saunas, tanning studios and gasoline stations.

In many areas microbiological hygiene analysis is called for. Air conditioning units for example have to be tested regularly for proper hygiene conditions in accordance with VDI 6022 or DIN 1964 in hospitals, respectively. Microbiological hygiene analysis, for example of the interior air, is also often necessary in schools, kindergartens, company premises, offices and residences.
