Statutory provisions

The Water Economy Law / Directive on Systems for Storing, Filling and Transferring Water-endangering Substances state that everyone is obliged to apply the necessary care as appropriate to the circumstances in the event of measures which involve effects on bodies of water so as to prevent a contamination of the water or any change in its characteristics.

What else is important for the operator of hydraulic systems?

The operator must be convinced that the specialist operation which is instructed to perform construction / conversion measures is able to present certification from a monitoring or quality-ensuring body which is recognized under construction law or a confirmation from a Technical Monitoring Board as to the conclusion of a monitoring contract. This must demonstrate that the specialist operation is authorized to carry out this work.
