Health and safety in laboratories

Working with biological substances such as viruses, bacteria or parasites may damage your health. For this reason, TÜV Rheinland Group assists hospitals, laboratories and waste disposal plants in implementing the ordinance on biological substances. They assess the risks resulting from both the type of biological substances handled and from the method of working with them. They provide advice on how the dangers can be minimised and check the effectiveness of the safety precautions at regular intervals.
