Six Steps to Getting Your Driver's License Back
- Find out as soon as your driver's license is withdrawn or you are disqualified whether you will need to take an MPT. Our Driver Aptitude Test Centers will help you here with their free info events and one-to-one counseling.
- You apply for your driver's license to be reissued and the licensing authority tells you that you must take a medico-psychological test. Now, if not sooner, is the time to attend a free info event and/or take one-to-one counseling at one of our test centers. The licensing authority will expect you to name a test center to which your license file is to be sent. You will find a list of our test centers under the heading Locations.
- The licensing authority then sends the file to the test center you have specified. The test center will confirm that it has received the file and request you to remit the test fee.
- On receipt of the fee, the test center will arrange a date with you. If you are in a hurry to take the test, please call the center. It will give you a preferential date on which you can take the test and pay the fee in cash.
- The medico-psychological test is held. As a rule you will be told at the end of the test what the result is likely to be. The result is generally mailed to you about 14 days later and the license file is returned to the licensing authority at the same time.
- You contact the licensing authority and, assuming that the test result is positive, you will get your driver's license back.
