Expert reports before a guarantee has expired
A broken roof, blocked pipes: is the real estate still under the contractually agreed guarantee? Fortunately, the obligations of guarantee on the part of the building contractor or of the seller apply in these cases. This obligation means that he must remedy all defects on new buildings which occur during the period of guarantee at his own expense. Providing that the owner states his claims in writing before the guarantee period has expired. So far, so good.
