Evaluation of Conformity

This is an assessment and a systematic review to determine if the product or system fulfills specific requirements (i.e., harmonized standards).

A mandatory assessment according to all the requirements must be undertaken and documented in the manufacturer's technical file before the CE Marking is affixed and before the product is either placed on the market, made available or put into service.
