Evaluation Methodology
The method employed by the TÜV Rheinland assessors during evaluations ensures that all aspects of an organization’s operations are analyzed.
Onsite Visit
The thoroughness of the evaluation stems from the onsite visit. As the TÜV Rheinland Group is represented in 380 locations in 60 countries, we are able to visit most organizations all over the world with relative ease.
The onsite visit means our evaluators have access to company employees as well as documentation. By conducting interviews from top management to employees, as well as checking documents and processes, the TÜV Rheinland STAR evaluators are able to conduct a comprehensive analysis.
Evaluation Subjects
Without an effective management system in place, consistent performance cannot be assured. The implementation of policies and procedures allows continual improvement by measuring, analyzing and improving processes. The process-based approach of the TÜV Rheinland STAR evaluation is further complemented by a performance evaluation. For every dimension, the implementation of various systems as well as their performance is checked. Furthermore, the transparency of reporting and the degree to which benchmarking occurs is also analyzed.
In order to ensure worldwide consistency and quality, we have divided the 9-Dimensions into more than 1,250 check-points which will be evaluated onsite.
