EMAS
Target groups and purpose
Die EU-Verordnung EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) ist ein Management-Instrument für Unternehmen und Organisationen zur Verbesserung der Umweltleistung. EMAS beinhaltet alle Anforderungen der ISO 1400 und enthält zusätzlich eine Bewertung der Umweltberichterstattung. Die Zertifizierung nach EMAS ist allen Unternehmen möglich, die in der EU, Island, Liechtenstein und Norwegen tätig sind.

By deciding on EMAS validation, you benefit both the environment and your own company. And you also ensure that the world at large will get to know about it. In contrast to ISO 14001, EMAS includes the publication of the validated environmental declaration and entry into the EMAS directory.
