Dr. Christoph Hack has been a member of TÜV Rheinland Holding AG's Executive Board since the company's foundation on 9.10.1992. He is responsible for human resources, legal affairs, works council affairs, information technology and logistics. Dr. Hack is also Labour Director and Managing Director of TÜV Rheinland Service GmbH and TÜV Rheinland Immobiliengesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. Prior to his appointment to the Executive Board, Dr. Hack spent four years as legal advisor and Head of the Legal Department at TÜV Rheinland e.V.
After passing his university entrance qualification, Dr. Christoph Hack, who was born in Cologne on 19 February 1951, studied law at the University of Cologne. Before joining the leading law firm, Dr. Leinen & Derichs, which is affiliated to the Cologne Higher Regional Court, in 1980, he spent three years as an academic assistant at the University of Cologne. From 1982 to 1988, Dr. Hack was employed as the company lawyer at Kölnische Rückversicherungsgesellschaft AG.
