Consumer tips - Water wings
So that your child can paddle safely in the water, only buy water wings that sit correctly. There are generally three different standard sizes to choose from. It is important that water wings will continue to hold the child above water, even if air escapes from one chamber. This is why good water wings have two chambers. Second-hand water wings, on the other hand, that are already several years old, are only recommended under certain circumstances, as the plastic ages.
Not store water wings outside
As plastic always ages more quickly when exposed to the sun, you should not store water wings outside. They will also remain airtight for longer, if you clean off any chlorine and other residues with a mild soap after use.
