International standard
The ‘Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code” introduced by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) includes internationally recognised guidelines for manufacturing pressure equipment. TÜV Rheinland can certify you as an approved manufacturer under the ASME-Code.
What is the ASME Code?
The aim of the ASME Code is neither to dictate specific design methods nor limit manufacturers’ freedom. Anything not prohibited under the code is allowed, provided that the safety of components is not compromised.
