Project Title: Anemon Intepe Wind Farm

Projekt Description:
The project involves the development of a 30.4 MW onshore wind farm in the region of Çanakkale-Intepe, Çanakalan-Karacaviran-Kurttepe Region in Turkey. The project is constructed and operated by Demirer Holding, under the name “Anemon Enerji Elektrik Üretim Anonim Åžirketi” and consists of 38 wind turbines of 800 kW, supplied by Enercon GmbH. 27 units are installed at an altitude of 65m, 9 units are installed at an altitude of 55m and 2 units are installed at an altitude of 50m. The proposed project activity includes the construction of 2000 m of new transmission line to establish a connection between the proposed project and the national grid. The project will be connected to the 154 kV high-voltage transmission lines between the Çanakkale and Ezine transformer stations. The Anemon Wind Farm will generate 108 GWh/year which is delivered to the Turkish national grid. The estimated emission reductions amount to 74,701 tCO2-eq/year. Because of the significant contributions of the project activity to the region’s sustainable development is the project activity designed as Voluntary Offset Project under the Gold Standard.
