Environmental Inspection

Day after day, various community players increasingly demand that productive activities be conducted in proper balance with the environment. Companies and facilities must comply with standards and applicable legislation, both in their projection and construction stages, as well as during the exploitation of the activities.

During all those stages Companies must check environmental quality levels, i.e. knowing their impact on different receptive means (air, water and soils/ground) and, as a consequence, on people’s health.

The execution of checks implies issues such as:

• Ensuring compliance required by standards and applicable legislation.
• Setting up corrective and preventive measures in potentially polluting facilities.
• Increasing workers, clients and the enforcing authority’s trust
• Improving prestige and image by leaning towards the clean production concept.
• Knowing main performances of facilities, procedures and raw materials used if compared to the amounts incorporated to obtained products, prior knowledge of effluents and waste generated, aiming at continuous improvement.

In this area TÜV Rheinland Argentina S.A. offers research and environmental assessments, energetic efficiency studies and environmental audits, among others.
