Some Examples of TÜV Rheinland Group Actions
- Atmospheric Pollution : Development and implementation of quality air master plans for cities or geographical areas: the TÜV Rheinland Group acted as advisor for authorities of the cities of Mexico and Santiago de Chile in the creation of an atmospheric pollution control system. It has also drafted statements of gas emissions in conformance with German legislation, for over 150 industries. In other occasion, the Ministry of Environment, Planning and Agriculture of North Rhenania (Germanys most industrialized province) hired TÜV to verify gas emission statements in said area.
- Study and Assessment of total noise under the simultaneous influence of different sources, such as airports, trains, traffic and other, for the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Baden-Württenberg.
- SABINE Investigation Project: Preparation of fundamentals for the safety analysis of processing facilities with fuel cells in stationary cogeneration energy an heat facilities for fuel consumption under 70 kW.
